അബര്‍ഡീന്‍: അബര്‍ഡീന്‍ സെന്‍റ് ജോര്‍ജ് യാക്കോബായാ സുറിയാനി ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‍സ്‌ പള്ളിയില്‍, പെന്തിക്കൊസ്തി പെരുന്നാൾ മെയ്‌ 19 നു ഞായറാഴ്ചരാവിലെ11.45ന്‌ അബര്‍ഡീന്‍ ‍മാസ്ട്രിക്ക് ഡ്രൈവിലുള്ള സെന്‍റ് ക്ലെമെന്‍റ്സ് എപ്പിസ്കോപ്പല്‍ പള്ളിയില്‍ വച്ചു വി.കുര്‍ബ്ബാന യോടുകൂടി പൂര്‍വ്വാധികം ഭംഗിയായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.

പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവേ വരേണമെ സകലത്തേയും പുതുതാക്കേണമെ അന്‍പതാംദിവസംഎന്നര്‍ത്ഥമുള്ളപെന്തിക്കോസ്തിയിലൂടെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ പുതുക്കത്തിലേക്ക് പരിശുദ്ധസഭ കടന്നുവരുന്നു. അപ്പോസ്തോല പ്രവര്‍ത്തികള്‍ രണ്ടാം അദ്ധ്യായം 1 മുതല്‍ 42 വരെയുള്ളഭാഗങ്ങളിലാണ്പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ ആവാസത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രതിപാദിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. യഹൂദന്മാരുടെ പെന്തിക്കോസ്തി പെരുനാള്‍ പെസഹായ്ക്കുശേഷം 50 ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞാണ് ആഘോഷിച്ചിരുന്നത്. (ലേവ്യ. 23.16) പെസഹാദിവസം കാല്‍വരിയിലെ തന്റെ ബലി അര്‍പ്പണത്തിലൂടെ പുതിയ പെസഹ സ്ഥാപിച്ച യേശുമശിഹായുടെ മരണം കഴിഞ്ഞ് 50-ↄo ദിവസം നടന്ന പെന്തിക്കോസ്തി പെരുന്നാളില്‍ അവിടുന്ന് വാഗ്ദാം ചെയ്ത പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവ് സഭയിലേക്ക് ആവാസം ചെയ്തു. ഇന്നും പെന്തിക്കോസ്തി പെരുന്നാള്‍ ശുശ്രൂഷയിലൂടെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ പുതുക്കം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

മെയ്‌ 19 - ↄo തീയതി ഞായറാഴ്ചരാവിലെ11.45ന്‌ പ്രഭാത നമസ്കാരവും തുടര്‍ന്ന് പെന്തിക്കൊസ്തിയുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷകളും റവ :ഫാദര്‍. ജിനോ ജോസഫിന്‍റെ മുഖ്യകാര്‍മ്മികത്വത്തില്‍ വി.കുര്‍ബ്ബാനയും, മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥപ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയും, ആശീര്‍വാദം, കൈമു ത്ത്, എന്നിവ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും . വി. കൂദാശകളിലൂടെയും പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പെന്തക്കോസ്തി പെരുന്നാള്‍ ശുശ്രൂഷയിലൂടെയുമാണ്. പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവ് പുതുക്കം ഉള്ളവരായി ജീവന്റെ കൂട്ടവകാശികളായി തീരുവാന്‍ നമ്മേ സഹായിക്കുന്നു

പെന്തിക്കൊസ്തിപെരുന്നാളില്‍, സംബന്ധിച്ച് അനുഗ്രഹിതരകുവാന്‍ അബര്‍ഡീനിലുംപരിസര പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും ഉള്ള എല്ലാ വിശ്വാസിക ളേയും കതൃ നാമത്തി ല്‍ ഷണിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു.

St.Mary's Jacobite Movement ( Samajam Central) JSVBS 2013 concluded at the land of St.Paul on 17 may 2013. Around fifty students and their parents were attent the colourful rally. Childrens were divided into three houses ( White Yellow Blue ) and the competitions where conducted on the basis of houses. Blue house win the first prize and white and yellow win 2nd and 3rd placese. Samajam Head master Mr. Roy Sam lead the programmes and Vice president Chev.Thomas Daniel deliver the gifts to students.

നായത്തോട് സെന്റ് ജോര്‍ജ്ജ് യാക്കോബായ പള്ളിയില്‍ ഗീവര്‍ഗീസ് സഹദായുടെ ഓര്‍മ്മപെരുന്നാളും ഇടവകദിനവും ആഘോഷിച്ചു. തിരുനാള്‍ കുര്‍‌ബ്ബാനയ്ക്ക് ഫാദര്‍ ഷാനു കല്ലുങ്കല്‍ നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി. തുടര്‍ന്ന് പ്രദിക്ഷണവും അതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് കുടുംബബന്ധങ്ങളും സംസ്കാരവും എന്ന വിഷയത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ക്ലാസും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. മാത്യൂ പുതുശേരി (ചെറായി) ക്ലാസ് നയിച്ചു. ഇടവകദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് വിവിധ കലാ മല്‍സരങ്ങളും സമ്മാനദാനവും തുടര്‍ന്ന് നടന്നു. വികാരി ഫാദര്‍ സാബു പാറയ്ക്കല്‍ ദിനാഘോഷങ്ങള്‍ ഉത്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ട്രസ്റ്റിമാരായ കെ എ പൗലോസ് , പി വി തോമസ് എന്നിവര്‍ പരിപാടികള്‍ക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി. ഡീക്കണ്‍ രെഞ്ചു കുര്യന്‍ , ടോം ജോസ് കൂരന്‍, എം വി ബൈജു , പി എം തോമസ് എന്നിവര്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു.

അയർലണ്ട് :അയർലണ്ട് യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‍സ്‌ ഇടവകയിലെ കുട്ടികളെ പങ്കെടുപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് സ്വാര്‍ഡ്സ് സെന്റ്‌ ഇഗ്നേഷ്യസ് യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‍സ്‌ പള്ളി യുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ മോര് ഇഗ്നാത്തിയോസ് നഗറിൽ (സെന്റ്‌ കൊളംബസ് ചര്ച്ച് ,ചര്ച്ച് റോഡ്‌ ,സ്വാര്‍ഡ്സ് )വച്ച് 2013 മെയ്‌ 11- ശനിയഴ്ച നടത്തിവന്ന ബാല കലോത്സവം പര്യവസാനിച്ചു..

യുറോപ്പിലെ തിരക്കേറിയ ജീവിതത്തിലും നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ നമ്മേ പഠിപ്പിച്ചതും,നാം പഠിച്ചതുമായ സർഗ്ഗവാസനകളെ നമ്മുടെ കുഞ്ഞു മക്കളെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും ആരാധന പരമ്പരങ്ങളിൽ ഉള്ള ബോധവല്ക്കരണവും ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കിയാണ് ബാലകലോത്സവം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചതു.

2013 മെയ്‌11 ശനിയഴ്ച രാവിലെ 8.30നു തോമസ്‌പുതിയാമഠo കശീശാ കൊടി ഉയര്‍ത്തി തുടർന്ന് പ്രഭാതനമസ്കാരവും 9നുഫാദര്‍.തോമസ്‌പുതിയാമഠത്തിന്‍റെ മുഖ്യകര്‍മ്മികത്വത്തില്‍വി.കുര്‍ബാനയും 10.15നു റവ:റോബർട്ട്‌ നിലവിളക്ക് കൊളുത്തി ഉത്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു ജൂനിയർ, സബ് ജൂനിയർ, സിനിയർ ,ഇൻഫന്റു എന്നി വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ക്രിസ്തിയ ഗാനം, മലയാളം , ആരാധന ഗീതം , പ്രസംഗം എന്നി മത്സരങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു

Feast of St.George held at St.George’s Jacobite Syrian Chapel, Vellappara

VELLAPPARA/ANGAMALY: The Feast of St.George with a series of colourful programmes held at St.George’s Jacobite Syrian Christian Chapel, Vellappara, Angamaly. Vicar Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal hoisted the perunal flag on Saturday, the 11th May 2013 followed by the evening prayer and anniversary programmes of various prayer units. Rev.Fr. Eldhose Varghese gave away the perunal message at the Chapel. On Sunday, the 12th May, perunal Qurbana was offered by the vicar Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal followed by grand procession from the Poothamkutty St.Mary’s Church to the Vellappara Chapel in which hundreds attended with traditional perunal spirit and instruments. Nercha was distributed to all present at the chapel soon after the dedication prayer and benediction.

MJSSA UAE zonal Teachers’ training and conference held at St. George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Simhasana Cathedral, Al -Ain, UAE

MJSSA UAE zonal Teachers’ training and conference for the year 2013 held at St. George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Simhasana Cathedral, Al -Ain, UAE on 10th May. The event was attended by over 50 Sunday school teaching staff representing various Sunday schools in UAE. The programme started with prayers followed by the welcome speech of Mr. James Varghese, MJSSA UAE Zone secretary. The presidential speech was delivered by the vice president of MJSSA UAE, Rev. Fr. M.J. Daniel.  The training session for the teachers was led by Dr. Joseph Lukose MBBS, MRCGP. He is a designated Preaching & Training Ministry Coordinator and member of National Charismatic Service Team, Vicariate of Southern Arabia.

After the tea break the teachers who attended the training session and conference were divided into various groups and discussions were conducted among the individual groups. One participant from each group was given an opportunity to speak a few minutes regarding their discussions. Mr. Joshua peter, Asst. Head master Al- Ain Sunday school delivered the vote of thanks and a photo session was also conducted with all attendees of the conference after the prayers. The various activities were coordinated by Mr. Seya Scaria, Al-Ain Sunday School Secretary & Mr. Varghese Chacko, Managing committee member Al -Ain Church. The event was a grand success due to the great support offered by all the Sunday school teaching staff from various parts of UAE. After the conference a special meeting of teachers of 10th standard was conducted to discuss about the centralized JSSLC examination. The teachers’ conference ended with the dinner. Food was all freshly prepared and served by a team of volunteers from the Al-Ain Church.

Free eye disease detection camp conducted by Manthalir Churh

As the part of the Post Centenary Golden Jubilee Celebrations of St.Thomas Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church Manthalir, a free eye disease detection and free cataract surgery camp was conducted on may 10th(friday) at St.Peters Nagar Kulanada. Eye Camp was conducted in association with the Ahalya Eye Hospital. Hundreds of people utilized the opportunity. An awareness class on eye donation was also conducted as the part of the camp. Kulanada Panchayat president Smt.Elsi Joseph inagurated the camp.Shri Johnson Ullanoor (member,Pandalam Block Panchayat) gave away the felicitations.

Eye camp was one among the many programs conducted as the part of Jubilee celebrations of the church.It includes many programs that are useful for the society. Hridyaporvam(Heart disease detection camp by DR.K.M.Cherian Heart Foundation), Road safety awarness class by Motor Vehicle Department, etc. Many more programs will be conducted in the next two months.

ഡബ്ളിൻ യാക്ക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി പള്ളിയിൽ മെയ് മാസം 16, 17, 18 തീയതികളിൽ (വ്യാഴം, വെള്ളി, ശനി ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ) ഡബ്ളിൻ കണ്‍വെൻഷനും ഏകദിനധ്യാനവും നടത്തപെടുന്നു. മെയ് മാസം 16, 17 തീയതികളിൽ (വ്യാഴം, വെള്ളി ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ) വൈകുന്നേരം 6 മണി മുതൽ 9 മണിവരെ സുവിശേഷയോഗവും മെയ് മാസം 18 നു, ശനിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 9 മണിമുതൽ 2 മണിവരെ ഏകദിനധ്യാനവും യൂറോപ്പിലെ പ്രശസ്ത ബൈബിൾ പ്രാസംഗികരായ വൈദിക ശ്രേഷ്ഠരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു

കൊച്ചി: ആഗോള സുറിയാനി ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‌സ്‌ സഭയുടെ ആലപ്പോ ആര്‍ച്ച്‌ ബിഷപ്‌ ഇബ്രാഹിം യൂഹാന്നോന്‍ മോര്‍ ഗ്രിഗോറിയോസിന്റെയും ഗ്രീക്ക്‌ ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‌സ്‌ സഭയുടെ ആലപ്പോ ബിഷപ്‌ ബൗളോസ്‌ യാസാജിന്റെയും തിരോധാനം സംബന്ധിച്ച്‌ ശ്രേഷ്‌ഠ ബസേലിയോസ്‌ തോമസ്‌ പ്രഥമന്‍ കാതോലിക്ക ബാവ നിയോഗിച്ച പ്രതിനിധി സംഘം പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മന്‍മോഹന്‍ സിംഗിനെ സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ച്‌ ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്തി. എപ്പിസ്‌കോപ്പല്‍ സുന്നഹദോസ്‌ സെക്രട്ടറി ഡോ. ജോസഫ്‌ മോര്‍ ഗ്രിഗോറിയോസിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള പ്രതിനിധി സംഘത്തില്‍ ഡല്‍ഹി ഭദ്രാസനാധിപന്‍ ഐസക്‌ മോര്‍ ഒസ്‌താത്തിയോസ്‌, പി.സി. ചാക്കോ എം.പി, കമാഡര്‍ ടി.എസ്‌. സാമുവല്‍ എന്നിവരാണ്‌ സംഘത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്‌. സഭയുടെ ആശങ്കയും വേദനയും പ്രതിനിധിസംഘം ചര്‍ച്ചയില്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. മെത്രാന്മാരുടെ മോചനത്തിനായി കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സാധ്യമാകുന്ന എല്ലാക്കാര്യങ്ങളും ചെയ്യുമെന്ന്‌ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി വ്യക്‌തമാക്കിയതായി ജോസഫ്‌ മോര്‍ ഗ്രിഗോറിയോസ്‌ പറഞ്ഞു.

അന്താരാഷ്‌ട്രതലത്തില്‍ ഈ വിഷയത്തില്‍ ആവശ്യമായ നടപടികള്‍ െകെക്കൊള്ളുവാന്‍ സമ്മര്‍ദ്ദം ചെലുത്തുമെന്നും അവിടുത്തെ സര്‍ക്കാരുമായി അടിയന്തരമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുമെന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഉറപ്പുനല്‍കിയതായി മോര്‍ ഗ്രിഗോറിയോസ്‌ പറഞ്ഞു. കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി വയലാര്‍ രവിയേയും പ്രതിനിധിസംഘം സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ച്‌ ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്തി. ഈ വിഷയത്തില്‍ വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രിയും പ്രവാസകാര്യ മന്ത്രിയും പി.സി.ചാക്കോ എം.പിയും ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂടി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുമായി ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്തി അനന്തര നടപടികള്‍ വേഗത്തിലാക്കും. കാണാതായവരെപ്പറ്റി 15 ദിവസമായി യാതൊരു അറിവും ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ബന്ധികളായ െവെദികരുടെ മോചനത്തിനായി ചര്‍ച്ചകള്‍ നടത്തി മടങ്ങിവരും വഴിയാണ്‌ ഇരുവരെയും കാണാതായത്‌. കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഡ്രൈവറെ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിലയിലാണ്‌ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്‌. ബിഷപ്പുമാരുടെ മോചനത്തിനായും അവര്‍ സുരക്ഷിതരായി മടങ്ങിയെത്തുന്നതിനും വേണ്ടി വിശ്വാസികള്‍ പ്രാര്‍ഥിക്കണമെന്ന്‌ ശ്രേഷ്‌ഠ കാതോലിക്ക ബാവ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്‌തു.

OLASSA/KOTTAYAM: The dukhrono feast of St George was celebrated at Olassa St. John's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church Olassa, Kottayam on May 7 2013. The Diocesan Metropolitan His Eminence Thomas Mor Themotheose was the chief celebrant of Holy Qurbono (Tri-Mass). The feast was accompanied with Raasa and Nercha vilamb. The Vicar Rev. Fr. Sherry Jacob Mukkanjirathil, Asst. Vicar Rev. F. Vipin Varghese Vellapallil, Very Rev F. Jacob Mathew Komadathusseril Corepiscopa, and Rev Fr. Febin Poothara participated.

Abducted Syrian bishops in good health, held by rebels

BEIRUT: Acting President of the Syrian National Council George Sabra said Wednesday that the two Greek Orthodox bishops kidnapped in Syria are being held in a small village north west of Aleppo by a rebel group. In a telephone conversation with Kataeb Party leader Amin Gemayel, Sabra said that Aleppo’s Greek Orthodox Archbishop Boulos Yazigi and Syriac Orthodox Archbishop Yohanna Ibrahim were both in good health and still in the custody of a small group of rebels in the Syrian town of Bshaqtin. “The bishops are in good health and are being held by a small group in a town called Bshaqtin, 20 kilometers north west of Aleppo,” Sabra told Gemayel who was in a meeting with Syriac Orthodox bishops at the Kataeb Party’s headquarters in Saifi, according to Gemayel’s office. Yazigi and Ibrahim were kidnapped last month by armed men while they were on their way to Aleppo from the Turkish border. The meeting in Saifi was attended by Mount Lebanon’s Syriac Orthodox Bishop George Saliba, Beirut Bishop Daniel Koriyeh, Syriac League President Habib Efram and the Deputy Bishop of Aleppo Joseph Shabo. Bishop Saliba also spoke to the Syrian opposition leader over the phone and urged him to secure the release of the kidnapped bishops. When contacted by The Daily Star contacted, Sabra declined to comment on the matter. Speaking during the meeting in Saifi, Gemayel said that the abduction of the two bishops constitutes a bad message to the Christian communities in Syria and the region. For his part, Saliba said that fear might overwhelm Christians in the region if the bishops are not released. “I don’t know whether the Christians would leave the region because of this or stay and react to this kidnapping in a way that we do not want,” Saliba added.

KOTTAYAM: Very Rev. Kuriakose Corepiscopa Moolayil decorated with the title of “Malphono d'Mardootho” by His Beatitude Catholicos Aboon Mor Bsalious Thomas I on 05 May at Nalunnakkal. Most Rev. Joseph Marthoma Metropolitan inaugurated and H.E Thomas Mor Theemotheose Metropolitan Chaired and handed over the citation from His Holiness the Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas,. Mor Coorilose Metropolitan delivered the key note address. Mor Aprem Mathews, Mor Ivanios Kuriakose, Mor Barnabas Geevarghese , Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Manalelchira, Chev. POOTHAMKUTTY/ANGAMALY: The Parish-day celebrations of St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Poothamkutty was held on Sunday, the 5th May, 2013 with a galaxy of colourful programmes. The Programme started with Holy Qurbana by the Vicar Rev. Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal followed by the inaugural function. Mrs. Eliyamma Varkey, the senior most member of the Parish along with the Vicar jointly inaugurated the Parish-day celebrations lighting the lamb this year. Competitions such as Church Quiz, solo song, family Song, group song, memory test, slow bike race, sack race and candle race were held for members age-group wise. A sumptuous love-feast was served for all present. In the evening, cultural programmes were held in which members of all spiritual organizations took part. Prizes for the winners were given away by the Vicar Rev. Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal to mark the end of the programme.

KADAMATTOM/MUVATTUPUZHA:Metran kakshi's Indian Orthodox Group (IOC) creating problems at Kadamattom St George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church. Tension prevailing at church premises. Jacobite faithful under H.G. Mathews Mor Ivanios and Vicar Rev. Fr. Eldhose Kakkadan protesting in front of the church-late night.

After a pretty long period of peace and harmony, the Metran kakshi's Indian Orthodox Group (IOC) faction has commenced another new episode of violence and foul tactics, this time at the historic Kadamattom Church. Despite the clear order from the RDO, asking them to stop their illegal construction works at the church, they continued the same during the past few days. Today evening they tried to secretly perform the consecration, which was questioned by the faithful. Consequently, the Jacobite faithful were attacked by Metran kakshi's Indian Orthodox Group (IOC) goons and stones were also pelted against the faithful. It is learnt that many of the Jacobite faithful are injured. More people are gathering to the church at the moment.

അയർലണ്ട്: അയർലണ്ട് യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‍സ്‌ ഇടവകയിലെ കുട്ടികളെ പങ്കെടുപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് സ്വാര്‍ഡ്സ് സെന്റ്‌ ഇഗ്നേഷ്യസ് യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‍സ്‌ പള്ളി യുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ മോര് ഇഗ്നാത്തിയോസ് നഗറിൽ (സെന്റ്‌ കൊളംബസ് ചര്ച്ച് ,ചര്ച്ച് റോഡ്‌ ,സ്വാര്‍ഡ്സ് )വച്ച് 2013 മെയ്‌ 11- ↄo തിയതി ശനിയഴ്ച ബാലാ കലോത്സവം സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ കുഞ്ഞു മക്കളെ സ്വർഗ്ഗ വാസനകളെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും ആരാധന പരമ്പരങ്ങളിൽ ഒള്ള ബോധവല്ക്കരണവും ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കിയാണ് ബാലാ കലോത്സവം സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് 2013 മെയ്‌ 11-ↄo തിയതി ശനിയഴ്ച രാവിലെ 8.30 നു പ്രഭാതനമസ്കാരവും 9നുഫാദര്‍.തോമസ്‌പുതിയാമഠത്തിന്‍റെ മുഖ്യകര്‍മ്മികത്വത്തില്‍വി.കുര്‍ബാനയും 10.15നു പതാക ഉയര്‍ത്തല്‍ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ജൂനിയർ സബ് ജൂനിയർ സിനിയർ ഇൻഫന്റു എന്നി വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ക്രിസ്തിയ ഗാനം മലയാളം ,ആരാധന ഗീതം , പ്രസംഗം എന്നി മത്സരങ്ങൾ ക്രെമികരിചിരിക്കുന്നു. അയർലണ്ടിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‍സ്‌ വിശ്വാസികളുടെയും മക്കൾ ക്കും മത്സരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാം. മത്സരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർ മെയ്‌ 1-ↄo തിയതിക്കകം പേരുകൾ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണ്

താമരശ്ശേരി: യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി സഭയുടെ കോഴിക്കോട് ഭദ്രാസനത്തിന്റെ ആസ്ഥാന മന്ദിരം താമരശ്ശേരി കാരാടിയില്‍ കൂദാശ ചെയ്തു. ശ്രേഷ്ഠ കാതോലിക്കാബാവ ആബൂന്‍ മോര്‍ ബസേലിയോസ് തോമസ് പ്രഥമന്‍ ബാവ കൂദാശാകര്‍മം നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു. പൊതുയോഗത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനവും കാതോലിക്ക ബാവ നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു. ഭദ്രാസനാധിപന്‍ പൗലോസ് മോര്‍ ഐറേനിയോസ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. പരിശുദ്ധ സുന്നഹദോസ് സെക്രട്ടറി ജോസഫ് മോര്‍ ഗ്രിഗോറിയോസ് മുഖ്യ പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. മലബാര്‍ ഭദ്രാസന മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത മോര്‍ ഗ്രിഗോറിയോസ് എപ്പിസ്‌കോപ്പ അനുഗ്രഹ പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. സഭയിലെ മര്‍ത്തമറിയം സമാജാംഗങ്ങള്‍ സ്വരൂപിച്ച ഭവനനിര്‍മാണഫണ്ട് ഭദ്രാസന സമാജം സെക്രട്ടറി അമ്മിണി രാജുവില്‍നിന്ന് സഖറിയാസ് മോര്‍ പീലക്‌സിനോസ് ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. ചികിത്സാ സഹായ ധനഫണ്ട് വി.എം. ഉമ്മര്‍ എം.എല്‍.എ. റൈറ്റ് റവ. തോമസ് കിളിയന്‍ കുന്നത്ത് എപ്പിസ്‌കോപ്പയില്‍നിന്ന് ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. പെയിന്‍ ആന്‍ഡ് പാലിയേറ്റീവ് യൂണിറ്റിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം എ.ഡി.എം. കെ.പി. രമാദേവി നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു. ഗ്രാമപ്പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് എ.അരവിന്ദന്‍, വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഹാജറ കൊല്ലരുകണ്ടി, കെ.വി.മുഹമ്മദ്, ഏലിയാസ് തൊണ്ടലില്‍ കോര്‍ എപ്പിസ്‌കോപ്പ, ഫാ. പി.സി. തോമസ് പുല്ല്യാട്ടേല്‍, ഫാ. സാജു പായക്കാട്, ഷെവലിയാര്‍ സി.ഇ.ചാക്കുണ്ണി, ഫാ.വര്‍ഗീസ് കടുംകീരില്‍, കെ.എം.പൗലോസ്, ഇ.വി.ജോസ്, എല്‍ദോ പൗലോസ് എന്നിവര്‍ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.
